2 Madison Co. students selected for USSYP | People

Two Madison County teens were selected to participate in the United States Senate Youth Program.

Kyle Campbell of Madison and John Hicks of New Hope will head to Washington D.C. for the 51st Annual United States Senate Youth Program.

Campbell and Hicks were among 104 students chosen to participate. Two students are chosen from each state as well as the District of Columbia and the Department of Defense Education Activity.

The USSYP seeks to instill within the delegates a more profound knowledge of the political process.

Each of the students will receive a $5,000 scholarship.
