Power restored to western Madison Co. | News
HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF)- Huntsville Utilities restored power after an outage in western Madison County.
Huntsville Utilities crews were doing maintenance work on a substation in the area when the outage happened. Technicians are checking equipment that may have failed during the maintenance process.
The area impacted extended from Research Park Boulevard west to the Madison County line and from Capshaw Road south to the Tennessee River. This included the City of Madison, Triana, Huntsville Jetport Industrial Complex, and much of Cummings Research Park.
Service was restored within an hour.
