Local law enforcement to host National Night Out Tuesday night | News

MADISON, AL (WAFF)- Residents are invited to participate in the 29th National Night Out event.

Communities across the country and in the Tennessee valley will come together in the name of crime prevention Tuesday night.

The Madison Police Department and community partners will host a National Night Out event in front of the Target in Madison on Highway 72 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

There will be rides, games, food and disaster preparedness "go bags" with everything you'd need like weather radios, first-aid kits and batteries.

The event will be mostly about getting to know your local law enforcement.

The Huntsville Police Department will host their event from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Jaycees building on Airport Road in Huntsville.
