Police arrest 2 vehicle burglary suspects | Crime
Madison Police arrested two men in connection with vehicle burglaries in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 27th.
Officers responded to a call about a vehicle burglary in progress in the Bradford Farms subdivision. Police said that two suspects fled on foot when they arrived in the area.
With the help of a nearby Huntsville Police K-9 unit, officers were able to catch the suspects. Authorities were able to recover some of the stolen property.
Police arrested Dwight Boone, 18 of Madison, and Devaughn Cornelius, 18 of Triana. Boone and Cornelius were charged with two counts of breaking and entering a vehicle, second degree theft of property, and attempting to flee or elude an officer.
Boone and Cornelius were transported to the Madison County Jail where they were held on $5,300 bond each.
