Madison County businesses announced as best places to work | Business

Twenty companies in Huntsville/Madison County will be announced as the “Best Places to Work,” and 12 workers will be named the Most Valuable Employees in Huntsville/Madison County at the Fifth Annual Best Places to Work awards luncheon Tuesday, May 8, at the Von Braun Center.

The event, to be held in the VBC’s North Hall, will begin at 11:30 a.m. The event will be co-hosted by the Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County and the North Alabama Society for Human Resource Management (NASHRM). The presenting sponsor is First Commercial Bank.

More than 200 companies were nominated, and 60 of those completed the survey and became contenders. About 4,000 employees were nominated. Quantum Workplace administered the survey and qualified the results.

Winners will be based solely on a survey completed by employees and were selected in four categories: organizations with between 25 and 35 local employees; organizations with between 36 and 70 local employees; organizations with between 71 and 200 local employees;  and employers with 201 local employees or more.
