Spring on the way?

Spring on the way?

Punxsutawney Phil, the king of all groundhogs, emerged from his den this morning and did not see his shadow.   Thus his forecast is for a quick end to the nasty winter weather we have had this year and an early arrival of spring.

There was dissension though in the groundhog community.  Our closest rodent prognosticators are split on the forecast.  Chattanooga Chuck of the Tennessee Aquarium did see his shadow and believes there will be 6 more weeks of winter.  The most famous groundhog of the south, General Beauregard Lee of Lilburn, Georgia, agrees with Phil.  He did not see his shadow and thus expects spring to come early.
